COVID-19 FAQ is a project that I completed for the New Haven Health Department to help provide community members with accurate and up-to-date information about COVID-19. I worked closely with the Health Department to develop content that was accurate, up-to-date, and accessible, and I used a clean, modern design to make the document engaging and easy to read.

Key Features of the FAQ Document
The FAQ document includes answers to frequently asked questions about COVID-19, such as "What are the symptoms of COVID-19?" and "How can I protect myself and my family from getting COVID-19?" The document is organized by topic and is designed to be easily navigable, so community members can quickly find the information they need.
Designing a Community-Friendly Document
In designing the COVID-19 FAQ document, I was committed to making it inclusive and accessible to all members of the New Haven community, regardless of their race, ethnicity, language, or ability. To achieve this goal, I included a range of diverse and inclusive graphics throughout the document. The use of diverse graphics further humanized the document and reinforced the idea that everyone in the community has a role to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Accessibility for All Members of the Community
In addition, I made sure that the document was accessible to people with disabilities. This included using high-contrast colors and large, easy-to-read fonts, as well as including alt text for all images and graphics. The document was also designed to be easily translated into other languages, and I included translations of key phrases in Spanish and other languages commonly spoken in the New Haven community.
I am proud to have been a part of this project, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to the community's health and well-being. COVID-19 FAQ is an excellent example of my ability to design and develop community-friendly documents that are both informative and engaging.
