Vaccinate New Haven

Community Engagement • Risk Communications • Health Communications

VaccinateNHV.org is a website that I designed to provide essential information about COVID-19 and flu in a format that is community-friendly. The website was developed to help the New Haven, CT community stay informed and up-to-date on the latest COVID-19 and flu-related news and guidance.

Engaging, Community-friendly Content

We also developed content that was easy to understand, and we ensured that the website was optimized for search engines and mobile devices. The website has been a valuable resource for the New Haven community, and it has helped to keep people informed and connected during these challenging times.

Mobile Vaccine Clinics

One of the unique features of the website was that it provided the only place residents could find the dates, times, and locations of mobile vaccine clinics in the city. I worked closely with the project team and community partners to ensure that this information was easily accessible and prominently featured on the website.

Easily Updated to Respond to Emerging Public Health Concerns

In 2022, when the city was responding to Mpox outbreaks (previously referred to as Monkeypox), we were able to quickly update the website with relevant information and guidance. The website became a critical resource for residents seeking up-to-date information on the epidemic, and it helped to prevent the spread of the disease.

I am proud to have been a part of this project, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to the community's health and well-being. VaccinateNHV.org is an excellent example of my ability to design and develop websites that are both informative and community-friendly.
