Designing a Logo for
Project Comunică

Project Comunică is a research initiative focused on mental health and HIV risk reduction among Romanian gay and bisexual men. The study emphasizes accessible communication and support, leveraging digital platforms to reach participants.

I led the logo and branding design to establish a visual identity that resonates with the target audience while conveying the project’s supportive and inclusive nature.

Logo & Branding Concept

The name Comunică, meaning “Communicate” in Romanian, inspired a logo that symbolizes open dialogue and community connection. The design elements include:

  • Rainbow “C” Symbol – Representing communication, inclusivity, and LGBTQ+ pride.

  • Vibrant Color Palette – Emphasizing positivity and support.

  • Modern Typography – Ensuring clarity and approachability.

Brand Style Guide

To maintain consistency, I developed a comprehensive style guide that includes:

  • Color & Typography Guidelines – Ensuring a cohesive look across all digital and print materials.

  • Logo Usage Instructions – Providing clear guidance for various applications, from social media to printed outreach materials.

  • Visual Examples – Demonstrating effective brand implementation across different platforms.
